I was born into a Christian family in a low caste in India. My parents were elders of the Lutheran church in our village Daravaram. But my parents were idolaters. In my youth I lived a sinful life with alcohol and other worldly things. I had no peace or joy in my heart. I had trouble sleeping and was drinking alcohol excessively. I did not live at all like Jesus Christ teaches but rather lived a sinful life.
 One day I was almost dead in my bed after several months of illness, Then came a servant of the Lord and shared the love of Jesus. He told me that Jesus loves me and that he has forgiven my sins and washed me clean with the precious blood. I was surprised to hear this, and believed in what he said. I began to pray to my Lord Jesus Christ.
The same night I saw a big bright light in my room and I heard Jesus calling me: "My son, my son come to me and bear my yoke, I love you so much," and suddenly I had a good sleep, and from that day, I got strength. I went immediately and told everything to my parents, and they were surprised that I had woken up and started praising the Lord's name. I had begun to follow Jesus.
I started reading the Bible and the Lord led me into many different projects. He led me to some jungle villages to preach the Good News about Jesus and my testimony. I started four churches in Kunavaram, Addategala (jungle villages) Sakavaram and Gangavaram, among very poor people in Andhra Pradesh. I have a strong desire to start new congregations in the jungle where the Gospel has not yet been preached.
I was blessed to read "Come and See" and I learned many things from the book. This book is very important to my ministry.Many times I have faced problems during my stay in the jungle, I have faced malaria food shortages, Hindus persecuting me, but I will not depart from the Lord. God is good!

To our dear and most beloved brother Carl Henrik Karlsson and all our friends in the Kallan family
in Christ.
Christian greetings to you from India in the Name of our Saviour Jesus Christ. My family and I are doing well by the grace of the Lord. Thank you so much for all your love and gracious financial support through Word In Action Outreach Sweden which is giving me more encouragement, and meets my ministry and family needs. All of our Church members are well and we are all praying for you and each and every one in the Kallan organization. We had a lovely Easter Sunday and Good Friday .We spent 40 nights fasting in prayer before Easter. Many believers have got strength and revived during that season. We had six water baptisms on Easter Sunday. I am reaching unreached people with the Gospel every day. Many people are responding to my ministry and accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. I have baptized more than forty three newly converted people in the last six months. Glory be to God.
I have been visiting hospitals and praying for sick people. We are seeing good answers from
the Lord through our prayers. I have been visiting slums and villages with the glorious gospel.
I have distributed free gospel literature to unreached Hindus and Muslims and communists.
Many are touched by the Word of God through the literature ministry. I have recently started a small congregation in Pothugandi, a small Rural village where there is no Gospel and no Pastor or Evangelist. Nine people have come in to the church in that village. Please pray that changes of lives will be made in villages. Amen. Please pray for this as thousands of villages in India have not even heard the name of Jesus Christ once in their life time. My heart is crying for the unreached people who are dying without Christ.
Beloved Carl Henrik, you and all your family and all the brothers and sisters are in our
prayers each day. The whole church and I are praying for Pastor Joseph's visit to Sweden and
praying for your meeting for the glory of the Lord. It is sad that I was injured on the way once during the night time in the Jungle village as one ox hit my shoulder .Please pray for my shoulder so that it may improve better. Word In Action gave some medical aid to me. I am so thankful to God for the help. Thank you for your prayers and love and helping hands.
